For the Sauce:
1 lb ground beef (or Italian sausage)
1 small green bell pepper, diced
1 small onion, diced
2–3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes

For the Pasta:
1 lb spaghetti noodles
Salt for the water
Butter (1–2 tbsp) – optional, for coating the noodles
